Prospective members are on probationary status for six months from the date of their Application and payment of the non-refundable application fee. The application fee equals one year of membership dues to OWSC, and if you are accepted for membership it also serves as your first year’s dues. Dues are enumerated in the OWSC Annual Renewal form (attached).

During this six (6) month probationary period you may utilize the OWSC Facility as a guest while accompanied by an active member. As a guest, you may also use your own boat, but you must first complete indoctrination (see below) or be accompanied by a member.

  2.  Acquaint yourself with other members
  3. Attend and participate in Club activities and two (2) bimonthly meetings
  4. Arrange for and actively participate in OWSC facility indoctrination
Following this probationary period, you must acquire two (2) OWSC sponsor’s signatures (below). These sponsors must be active Club members.

Following a favorable vote for membership you will become an OWSC member, and if you are a boat owner, you will be given keys to the facilities. Lack of participation or violation of Club Rules may result in your membership and facility use privileges being revoked.
